John P has mostly finished the crazy turnout in the paper mill area.

Alex L is working on a tank car load/unload platform for Standard Hydrocarbon & Petrochemical.

Someone has been making trees.

Having done the tower, Luis has set up an orchard.

Lots of people in today, which meant lots of progress to report and lots of discussions about the general state of cleaniness in N52-118.

Dillon performed some more tests with his smoke generator, with the result of making the whole room smell like baby oil. No smoke alarms were set off.... yet.

Alex P. Worked on the train cards, made a industries list and started an inventory of all the items we have collected over the years as donations.He is obviously too busy to stand still for long enough to have his picture taken....

Some more progress has been made on the loading platform for standard oil
|

And we are quite done yet.... Luis and Alex L. worked on the fruit orchard some more. Additions include the beginnings of a loading dock (not pictured), various experiments were performed with making stone walls and the first workers were planted on the orchard.

Smoke and mirrors today, as of 21:38 today we have not burned down the layout ... yet.

The smoke generator reached version 2 today, with actual smoke seen (and smelt) all over the layout.

In order to make the smoke more visable, Dillon attempted to mix the baby oil and black food coloring, power tools were required.
|

A new shack is currently under construction for use under the viaduct.
|
