John P got the new shelves started--after several trips to the big-box hardware stores in search of suitable anchors and fasteners. Already the clutter on the desktop has been reduced (until more clutter arrives and the old stuff remains around, so we'll have a cluttered desk and shelves). The shelves are temporary and were made from a nice big piece of particleboard out of the trash room.
	Dillon and Alex have a project in mind to create a subway line. Of course it needs a name, a logo, a catchy slogan and an advertising image.
	Here's the advertisement for the new 21st century MITCo! (Hope the MBTA doesn't catch us for this one.)
	Alex continued work on buildings.
	Across the hall, there has been Progress on the plumbing fixtures, with the rusted-out iron contraption replaced by an equally bizarre new bronze contraption.

	After his glorious success with the shelves, John P started to make a mockup of the new display installation.
	Here it is complete, with Prajwal in the danger zone.
	Dillon couldn't stand the disorder in the tool boxes--he's sorting them both out.
	And he decided that new shelves above the workbench would be appropriate, too. (Using the layout fascia as a workbench might not be the best plan, however.)
	Prajwal found the German model Inter-City Express trains that Adam Madlinger(??) left behind. He had some fun running them around the layout at stupendous speed.
	Prajwal has also written some software, aimed at automatic coupling of trains.
	John P brought in some shelf material for Dillon's new setup.
	Finding he had some time left, Prajwal checked out some locomotives.

Today Troop 40, Boy Scouts of America from Taunton MA came to visit and a good time was had by all. Their main host was Dillon Battaglia, an Eagle Scout himself, with numerous other club members assisting.

Dillon started off with a lecture on various aspects of railroading, using graphics he created himself and (for almost the first time!) a projector and our roll-down screen.

		Ken came in later and did some painting.		Yes, there was a small amount of damage. Cab 1 ended up with a new cord.
