This page describes work accomplished on the new TMRC layout during
the month of June 2013, as taken from the descriptions posted to
the club mailing list.
For no particular reason, signals at Berkmannville.
Former TMRC member Reilly McCarren visited. He's the CEO and main owner of his own railroad. He said, "I don't seem to have much motivation to build a model." We talked about how realistic (or not) some of our operating procedures are.
Progress on the Upper Level.
Seen from the other direction, it is just as untidy.
Andy Miller has installed a length of new "hairpin" fence at Killianport station, to encourage
our passengers to cross the tracks via the footbridge. Bad words about wood putty were heard in the vicinity.
Newly stained ties on the Upper Level.
Fine craftsmanship demands good lighting, and it just hasn't been adequate as the Upper Level progresses. This new lamp has made an appearance, until the components are needed for layout
illumination. It runs off track power.
