We didn't get around to any Progress Report in October, so we'll tell a big lie about the date on this one: maybe it should really be Nov 1.

Eliza made a very welcome visit after a long absence. She's now an employee of the Institute, and so eligible to be a totally official TMRC member.
We had a visit from a very large number of people.
JEM talked to one of them about the turntable.
Alex also got an opportunity to expound.
They climbed the Tower, and investigated underneath it too.
Then we had a session of testing of David Lambeth's platform illumination, where many hands made light work. (An LM317 variable voltage regulator also contributed.)
Consensus was that the right voltage to run the lights is 10.0 "No more and no less".
Alex did some painting.
Dillon worked on the cold storage building.
John P realigned some of the roadbed for the upper level, and found an excuse to use more bolts, clamps and glue.
It ends up fitting like this.
