This page describes work accomplished on the new TMRC layout during
the month of September 2010, as taken from the descriptions posted to
the club mailing list.
Following a summer of torpor, TMRC has once again become the hive of activity that's its usual state. Here's Progress on the trackwork at the chemical factory. It's our first major installation of track done with Code 55 rail.
No, this isn't a rehearsal for West Side Story. And it has nothing to do with TMRC. It's just an illustration of the kind of people we share the building with.
David Lambeth visited recently, and as usual he left Progress in his wake. This is a first pass at supports for the 2nd and 3rd levels, to be built as future Progress.
John M has painted the, um, art which graces the outdoor lunch area at the steel warehouse. This is based on a prototype near Lewsiston, Maine.
The Berkmannville millpond has been painted, ready for water to be poured.
New stone walls for the stream flowing out of the pond, and sides for the bridge (note keystone).
A fence and more soil for the vegetable garden in Pettengill Circle.
Experiments for cast-putty capstones on the improved bridges at Berkmannville..
