Although our control system was designed from the beginning to drive signals, we haven't been diligent about building and installing them. John Purbrick scratchbuilt this model based on a drawings from the General Railway Signal website and on photographs taken at trackside a few miles from Cambridge. The prototype has its ladder on the side rather than the back, so that's the way the model is too.
