Another excellent evening of progress on multiple projects!
This illustrates John P's method of operation of a turnout using a hobby servo,
along with a micro switch to change the frog polarity. This eliminates the need
for a relay and extra wiring from track to control board. The cast-plastic bracket
for the servo is from Motrak Models.
Prajwal bought a new miniature camera for "cab's eye view" video, and has it installed in a passenger car. See it make a movie of a pencil and a Cherry Coke(TM) can!
Here's what shows when it's out on the railroad.
Prajwal also obtained (at no cost) a third computer, which will serve some important purpose.
End of track on Level 2!
John P and Bill conferred regarding alignment of the Central Vermont tracks.
Bill did some more work on the ties Dillon installed lsat week.
This is a new support for the upper level, mostly for planning purposes.
Alex did some scenery work on the bare hillside above Middle Heights.
And here's Peter's loading dock at Raskob & Eggers.
Alex also made a roof for the truck loading area at Standard Hydrocarbon.
